Some have asked, “Is there a proper order to present your coupons?” Yes, there is!
1. Have the cashier scan all of your items (Make sure you do any price matching as the item is scanned.)
2. Scan your store rewards’ card
3. Scan any store coupons/discounts
4. Scan any manufacture coupons (When shopping at Kmart, hand them the 5 coupons that you want doubled BEFORE handing them the rest of your coupons, if your total is over $25.)
5. Use any reward points (if applicable) toward the payment of your transaction
6. Pay for the remaining balance
The key to a GREAT transaction is be organized with your coupons, know approximately what your total should be, and know what rewards should be applied/printed for you. Don’t leave the store until you are satisfied with the transaction. Visit the customer service for additional help. REMEMBER to be a pleasant couponer so that the store employees don’t cringe when they see you walk into the store.
